Welcome to the 6th edition of online course in tap with Mattias Lundmark:
Online classes LIVE via Zoom or FB Live in tap dance with Mattias Lundmark. The Pandemic of covid-19 and it’s restrictions around the world keep us apart but the digital options have helped us in this hard times. After a break Mattias would like to start a 5 week program in tap where we finish the last Tuesday celebrating TAP DANCE DAY.
This is a 5-week course in tap. There are two levels.
It starts 27th April and the last time is 25th of may.
Price:
1 course: 600 sek
2 courses: 800sek
Times and description:
There are two levels: beg/int and int/adv. A quite wide range and the lessons usually have a progression of being a bit easier in the beginning and more complex in the second half.
Mattias has performed tap dancing in British television at ”Strictly come dancing” and worked as the assisting choreographer in the musical ”Singin' in the rain ” in Stockholm. He teach tap dancing in several dance schools and been doing that for over 20 years.

This course is for you who have taken the basic’s course or been tap-dancing for at least half a year.
I wish to build up the foundation of tap with idea’s from Steve Condo’s tap curriculum. And we will also work on small kombinations that you can practice and develop your tap-dance skills. Shuffle, flap and traveling Timestep and weight shifting exercises are on the agenda and much more. Mattias mix music styles that help the vocabulary of creating rhythms.
Int/adv Tap dance: 19:00-19:55 (GMT+2)
This course is for you who have taken classes for at least two years. We will work on steps from classical Choreography’s like ”doin the new low down” from Bill Robinson. But in addition to that we will explore the curriculum of Steve Condo’s steps and technical tap steps like traveling Time step and maxi fords. Join him for some fun exercises to all kind of music.

We are both happy and proud to share the Big Apple Routine with you. We offer step-by-step instructions and, with Whiz and Jazz, make the routine fun for all dancers alike.
Frankie Manning is credited with inventing the steps of the famous Big Apple Contest.
With the release of the Movie "Keep Punching" in 1937, his steps where preserved for all of us to see. Along with the original footage of this dance, we attempt to recapture the original Hype of the 1920s.
